art on the web

The issue here is not so much a definition of art nor a discourse around "pre-net" & "net". What I am interested here is in what-is and what-is-becoming art on the net. How from a distance can art be relevant or even real? Lets look at some art "genres" that have successfully BEGUN in pre-net and are NOW are actively on the "NET".
One is the fLuXuS movement. Fluxus was born 40 yrs ago in Germany. It is based around the premise that Fluxus was a movement of experimentation ~ characterized by these ideas: globalism, the unity of art and life, intermedia, experimentalism, chance, playfulness, simplicity, presence in time, and music.
