storyboard example

See how an online animator produces a series of prototypes with a storyboard. Ainslie is a designer and artist. Your storyboard could be a series of drawings, quickly sketched or more detailed. A storyboard is on way to create a concept for a prototype animation within a site.
Use it in conjunction with a flowchart that is html based or Flash (heh heh) based. Here's simple html flowchart template
YOU need to design the structure first. A web site designer must start by structuring the information content in ways that allow for connection, interaction and interference. This principle concerns the format of a web site: the structure, sense-making, navigation and interface.
[A common trap for web development is to go straight to the building of the 'wallpaper' before walls are built or, to extend the metaphor, before doors and windows are positioned. A structure and context that shapes the content are the web site walls and the appropriate exit links are the doors and windows. As in building a house, the pattern or colour of the wallpaper becomes meaningless where there is no articulating framework.]
